Who We Are

What once was a 100+ year old sheep ranch of our Beck family who immigrated here from Denmark generations ago, our farm now serves as what may be some of the last raw, open space in American Fork. We recognize the valuable role we have in being stewards here, and feel one of our greatest contributions is to allow others to enjoy a piece of the farm for themselves. This farm has a way of enriching the lives of people in the most organic way we know: by connecting us with the nature that humans have always been a part of, and that we are sometimes now very disconnected from.

Our horse-grazed bucolic, rolling pastures, the rows and rows of flowers and fluttering pollinators that they host, the majestic mountains as a blanketing backdrop, the dew on the grass kissed by the sun each morning - they all surround you and remind you of your existence and potential outside of modern day to day life.

I’m Kailin Beck, and I’m here to share it all with you.

Local, Seasonal & Sustainable Flowers

Our flowers are grown 100% locally in our own greenhouses from seed every year. This means we work with nature to follow the natural bloom cycle of our grow zone here in the high desert of Utah. We have spring blooms from tulips to peonies and ranunculus, and summer-fall blooms of dahlias, zinnias, cosmos and more. We grow dozens of varieties of flowers and greenery that bloom in succession, giving us a steady flow of flowers from April to October.

Why local is better:

  1. Freshness and Longevity: Local flowers are typically picked closer to their peak bloom, ensuring they arrive fresher and last longer in your home. Imported flowers often travel long distances, which can reduce their freshness and lifespan.

  2. Environmental Impact: Importing flowers can have a significant carbon footprint due to transportation emissions. Supporting local growers reduces this environmental impact.

  3. Support for Local Economy: Buying local flowers helps to support local businesses and farmers, contributing to the overall health of your community.

  4. Variety and Seasonality: Local growers often focus on seasonal varieties, offering a wider range of unique and in-season flowers that may not be available year-round.

  5. Reduced Pesticide Use: Many local growers prioritize sustainable practices, including reduced pesticide use, which can be beneficial for both the environment and your health.

  6. Unique and Heirloom Varieties: Local growers may have access to unique or heirloom varieties that are not commonly found in imported bouquets.

By choosing local flowers, you're not only getting a beautiful product but one that is truly better for everybody and the environment.
